To understand the title, you need to know that we were close enough that the shrapnel was falling on us and he were being blown back by the force of the explosions.
 anyway, I was inspired by the sky was green with envy picture that was a dd a while back... if you can find it, give me a link so I can add it to the comments.  This is an amazing shot! I'm not much of a photographer but I know a good picture when I see one and this is really good. I like how you had the fireworks on the left side of the photo and somewhat cropped. It's very nice!
