Roslyn Lake again. Soon to be drained. Don't take the natural beauty around you for granted or it will be taken away. These pictures I've got will be ghosts of what once was.

The below poem was written as a comment for this picture by eluk :iconeluk:

Sweet Roslyn

Sun bursts over golden pond
Shallow water over hidden dips
Shadowed reeds and darkened frond
unmoving beauty in morning mist.

In vein the pumped waters shrivel and surge
Iron on steel as shattered silence breaks
Disturbing the mornings quiet deliberation
Breaking rushes, onward for progresses sake.
